Moderately oxidized oolong from a cultivar Cui Yu (TTES13 Jade oolong) grown in 300 – 350 m altitude in Nantou County nearby Ming Jian town, west Taiwan. Tea was grown and processed by Mr. Huang who grows tea in Natural Farming style, in harmony with surrounding nature without any chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Picking from April in 2020, slight oxidation 15 %, traditinal tight rolling into middle sized balls of darker green colour, with a fruity aroma and a hint of nuts. Transparent light green in a cup with a soft slightly astringent yet creamy flavour full of pickled fruit taste (strawberries and apricots) and scent of citrus and jasmine flowers.
Preparation: we recommend to prepare the tea in 1,5 dcl of water. Put 3 g of tea into a warmed teapot and pour the boiled water, cooled down to 85°C . Let is steep for 1 – 1,5 minute, then pour into a cup. You can repeat the process few times.
