Black Tea - Spring Season

With the arrival of spring, nature awakens with new strength. The air is warm and fragrant again, charged with energy. Flowers appear, everything takes on warmer shades and is full of optimism. The tea bushes have been resting for months, gathering nutrients and energy for new growth. The first buds of delicate young leaves are appearing. They are beautifully green and vital, with a rich flavour texture and are particularly aromatic. Throughout the northern hemisphere, the tea harvest begins in early March (first flush) and lasts only a few weeks. For most quality black teas, the spring harvest is the most desirable, and this is true for Darjeeling first flush and Nepal.
