Green Tea - Summer Season
Summer harvesting is usually referred to as picking tea leaves from late spring and early summer, before the monsoon. High-quality green teas from the summer harvest, especially Japanese sencha and bancha, are full and rich in flavour with a wide range of flavours. These are not usually as invigorating as spring harvest teas. They can therefore be a good drink for afternoon and evening sipping. Whether it is green teas from China, Taiwan, Japan or even Nepal, summer harvests are always an interesting choice.
