2018 Baoshan Single Trees

Old trees, a mix of three batches from three trees. This is a true limited edition. Leaves picked from three old trees, carefully selected, completely manually processed and then mixed. Stone pressing was done in a small family manufacture in Menghai.
At the first sight, these beautifully processed silver green leaves are full of gentle downy tips with distinctively full resinous scent. Light golden green infusion of intensive, almost astringently sweet scent and balanced sweet taste with resinous tones, traces of santal wood and a slightly astringent and pleasantly mineral aftertaste. We strongly recommend storing, this tea has a great maturing potential.

Brewing recommendations: 4–5 g of tea per 100 ml of boiling water, steep for 20, 15, 10… seconds. This tea is ideally prepared in a miniature teapot, shiboridashi or zhong and cup(s) of the same volume so that the entire content could be strained at once.
