A very young project of Nepalese teamaker Mankumar Mukhiya and his team, which specializes almost exclusively in the production of oolong teas. Tea leaves come from local farmers from the surrounding gardens located at an altitude of 1850-2100 m, eastern Nepal, Ilam region.
Darker, brown-green, irregularly rolled, medium oxidized leaves with a heavier sweet fruity and nutty aroma. Brown-orange infusion of a full, round, distinctly fruity, slightly astringent to scrubbing flavors with tones of roasted nuts, frozen rose hips, and prunes.

Preparation: 3 teaspoons (7 g) per 0,5 l of boiled water, steep 2 - 3 minutes.

Mai Pokhari is located in the village of Mai Pokhari in Jasbire in Ilam. Pokhari means pond. It is located at an altitude of 1900 to 2100 meters and the plantation was first planted in 1992 by the Mukhia family who are farmers. The factory was established in 2012.

"Teamaster is someone who just looks at tea leaves and is immediately able to tell what tea he produces from them. Someone who can fully link tea production with environmental factors. Someone who can produce the same tea as in previous years. The same tea that people have enjoyed in past seasons. "

Mankumar Mukhiya
