Green tea from Kagoshima, south Japan
Sencha from summer season in Kagoshina, South Japan. Leaves of matt metallic green colour, sweet grassy and slightly roasted aroma. Bright green in a cup with a fresh rounded and soft flavour with pleasant vegetal tones. When steeped a bit longer, it has a sharper hint of a green pepper and a warming roasty feeling.
Preparation: Allow 1 teaspoon (5 g) of tea for 200 ml of boiled water, cooled down to 75°C, steep for 50 seconds. For second infusion, cool the water down to 75°C, steep only for 15 seconds. You can prepare third infusion in a similar way.
