Mao cha purchased from a recommended trader in Mengai, where the tea was then pressed into 100g cakes. This tea is suitable rather for immediate consumption; it is light and straightforward and we would recommend it to enter the mysterious world of tea called Puerh.
A very long leaf of delicate silver green appearance, with swishy peppery scent, pressed into fine 100g cakes. The infusion has light golden green colour, fresh juicy and playful taste, a very pleasant and mellow mouthfeel with a sweet spicy tones and long, slightly peppery after-taste.
Young trees are like young people - energetic, beautiful, sweet, shallow and foolish.

Area: Jingmai mountains, Lancang County, Simao District, Yunnan, China
Cultivar: Large-leaf variety of tea tree (Da Ye Zhong), young trees
Brewing recommendations: 4–5 g of tea per 100 ml of boiling water, steep for 20, 15, 10… seconds. This tea is ideally prepared in a miniature teapot, shiboridashi or zhong and cups of the same volume so that the entire content can be strained at once.
