Vietnamese Puerh
This category includes Vietnamese Sheng Puerh teas (known as raw puerh), which mainly come from the mountainous regions of northern Vietnam. They are often harvested from wild or semi-wild tea trees and processed using traditional methods similar to the Chinese standard for green puerh. Vietnamese sheng teas are usually characterized by a lighter body, more pronounced astringency when young, and a fresh, herbal profile. Depending on the location and age of the tea, the flavor may have notes of fruit, flowers, or minerals. These teas are usually pressed into cakes or bricks or left as loose leaves.
