Heicha - Čína - Guangxi
Liu Bao teas originate from the Cangwu region in Guangxi Province. These are post-fermented teas belonging to the broader group of heicha (dark teas). A typical feature of Liu Bao is the controlled fermentation process (wo dui), which takes place before pressing or packaging in traditional baskets. The resulting tea is characterized by dark leaves, an earthy aroma, and a smooth taste with notes of damp soil, wood, and possibly nuts or dried fruit. Liu Bao is suitable for long-term aging and can be prepared by repeated infusions.
