Nice looking, unbroken leaves with a partial share of golden tips. It is lightly pressed with an intensely sweet, woody, leathery aroma. A dark chestnut color in a cup with a creamy smooth beautifully balanced slightly spicy flavor with notes of pine nuts. This tea can withstand a large number of infusions.

Brewing recommendations: 4–5 g of tea per 100 ml of boiling water, steep for 20, 15, and 10… seconds. This tea is ideally prepared in a miniature teapot, shiboridashi or zhong and cup(s) of the same volume so that the entire content can be strained at once.

Spring picking from rather younger tea trees grown on plantations in the Bulang Mountains in the wider area of Banzhang village. About 70 % of the fermentation took place, which gives the tea a creamier and smoother taste and, of course, a greater potential for further maturation. The tea was stored in Menghai until 2022.
