Competition oolong from Taiwan
Traditionally processed tea, rolled into small darker balls, more oxidized (approx. 40 %) and more significantly baked dry leaves with a pleasant spicy aroma with a hint of ginseng. Brown infusion with a velvety soft taste with a balanced ratio of fruity and baked tones and an intense aroma of heavier floral tones of orchids and roses.
Jin Xuan cultivar tea comes from the Zhushan (bamboo mountain) area in the Nantou county, right next to the more famous Lugu. The leaves were slightly bitten on the bushes by small insects called Jacobiasca formosana. This tea comes from the Gui Fei tea competition, which is organized by the LGTTS organization, otherwise known mainly by the Dong Ding tea competitions in Lugu.
Preparation: we recommend to prepare the tea in Gong Fu style. Put 5 g of tea into a warmed teapot (150 ml) and pour the boiled water in. Let is steep for 15 – 30 seconds, then pour into a cup. Tea will endure more infusions.
