Competition oolong from Taiwan
Traditionally processed dry leaves rolled into regular small balls of matt gray-green color and intense sweetly baked aroma with tones of prunes, cane sugar and a hint of ginseng. Light golden infusion with a delicate soft, creamy taste with a very precise balance of roasted and vegetal tones and a rich palette of fine flavour layers. Full dense aroma with a colourful range of fruit tones with an aroma of pickled plums, apricots, pasta honey, walnuts, cool vanilla and a hint of ginseng.
This oolong was shortlisted in the Lugu Farmer Association Competition Tea in June 2020 and was awarded with the so-called "two plum blossoms". However, the competition rules do not allow the name of the farmer and the place of production to be indicated.
Cultivar: Chin Xin Oolong 青心烏龍
Preparation: we recommend to prepare the tea in 1,5 dcl of water. Put 3 g of tea into a warmed teapot and pour the boiled water, cooled down to 85°C . Let is steep for 1 – 1,5 minute, then pour into a cup. You can repeat the process many times, untill the tea has a good taste. With further infusions, we slightly increase water temperature and time of steeping.
