Black tea from the autumn harvest from a specific cultivar Wuyi, named after a famous tea region located in the province of Fujian in southeastern China, from where it was once brought. Tea was grown by Mr. Yu in the style of Natural Farming on the slopes around the town of Ming Jian in Nantou County. This cultivar is very suitable for processing into black or highly oxidized teas followed by intensive baking.
Dark, long, unbroken, more lightly rolled and fully oxidized dry leaves with intense fruity (forest fruits) and malty aroma with hints of ginseng and chocolate. Lighter brown-orange infusion with a full, round, creamy soft and honey-sweet taste with tones of malt, stone fruit and autumn forest.
Preparation:we recommend to prepare the tea in 1,5 dcl of water. Put 3 g of tea into a warmed teapot and pour the boiled water, cooled down to 85°C . Let is steep for 1 – 1,5 minute, then pour into a cup. You can repeat the process many times, untill the tea has a good taste. With firther infusions, we slightly increase water temperature and time of steeping.
