Oolong
Also called semi-oxydized, blue-green or oolongs (from Chinese wu-long, black dragon - the best known, partially oxydized tea). It is traditionally produced in China and Taiwan. Although, one may also encounter rare oolongs from Darjeeling.

Description

Honey Oolong from Taiwan, Ming Jian region, Nantou County
This traditional, even though only inconspicuously roasted oolong by Mr Xie from his “Harmonious Fragrance” garden in Ming Jian, Nantou, in central Taiwan. Mr Xie is an advocate of organic tea growing without any chemicals. His garden is also MOA certified (see in the Story).
The dry leaf, shaped into typical tiny balls of dark green colour and sweet creamy taste. The light green infusion has the intensive creamy fragrance typical for the Si Ji Chun cultivar and full, intensive taste with dominant vanilla, exotic fruit and heavier flower tones.

Altitude - 300 - 400 m

Preparation: we recommend to prepare the tea in 1,5 dcl of water. Put 3 g of tea into a warmed teapot and pour the boiled water, cooled down to 85°C . Let is steep for 1 – 1,5 minute, then pour into a cup. You can repeat the process many times, untill the tea has a good taste. With firther infusions, we slightly increase water temperature and time of steeping.
