Unevenly rolled and slightly oxidized (15 – 20 %) leaf comes from tea bushes grown in lower altitude (350 m) in Ming Jan region, Nantou, West Taiwan. We have no specific details about time of picking etc., except the year 2001. The tea was not not additionally baked during years of aging. Therefor, it has rather raw tones of exotic fruits with typical pleasant ginseng astringency and spices. Golden green in a cup with intense exotic flavor with a hint of grapefruit and ginseng.
Preparation: we recommend to prepare the tea in Gong Fu style. Put 5 g of tea into a warmed teapot (150 ml) and pour the boiled water in. Let is steep for 30 seconds, then pour into a cup. Tea will endure many infusions.
